My Calling: Caring for Streeties and Rescues

Beyond my home-style boarding, my heart belongs to the streeties I feed and care for daily. This work is a journey of love, rescuing, and listening to the silent stories of these beautiful souls.

During the hot summers, I always keep fresh water and food outside for any thirsty or hungry animal that passes by. A little kindness goes a long way.

Harry is one of my regular streeties who follows me everywhere. I also teach my own pets to share, like this moment where my Shih Tzu watches Harry drink from the water bowl.

Feeding the voiceless is a daily ritual for me and my family. We go out every day to make sure the stray dogs in our area don't go hungry.

This is Lakshmi, a pregnant cow whose owner could no longer care for her. We found her a safe home at a Goshala. My work often involves rescuing and rehoming animals in need.

Even when on vacation in Tirupati, my heart goes out to the streeties. Here I am making a new friend. My family understands and supports my passion completely.

My husband is my biggest supporter, often joining me on feeding drives for street dogs in industrial areas where food is scarce.

Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen. I spend my time listening to the needs of these voiceless souls.

About this collection

My daily rescue and feeding rounds have taught me more about dog behaviour than any manual ever could. Whether it's a timid rescue or a high-energy pup, I know how to make them feel safe and understood, giving you real peace of mind while you are away.

Every dog has a personality, and my time with streeties has taught me to read those cues perfectly. I don't just see a pet; I see an individual who might be scared of loud noises, hesitant about new people, or simply full of excitement. When I bring a guest into my home, I apply this exact same patience and observation.

My work with strays in Bengaluru involves everything from feeding packs in industrial areas to coordinating medical care for injured animals. It is messy, demanding, and constant work, but it ensures that when your pet stays with me, they are in the hands of someone who has handled every temperament imaginable. If your dog is anxious, I have the patience to let them settle at their own pace without forcing them into a routine.

This is not just about boarding services. It is about a lifestyle where the boundaries between 'my pets' and 'the strays I help' blur. My children help with the rescues, my husband supports the feeding drives, and our home is always open. When your dog stays with us, they are not a client—they are part of this ecosystem of care. Whether your pet needs a specific diet, medical support, or just someone to sit with them in a quiet corner, they receive the same dedication I give to the streeties who wait for me every single day. Ishtē sāku, as we say here—a little love is all they need, and that is what I promise to give your baby.
