About More Than a Trip: Community & Leadership
You aren't just here to trek; you are here to solve problems with your squad. In our leadership camps, we use obstacle courses, blindfolded walks, and team drills—the same ones professional instructors use—to break the ice and build real trust. Whether you are helping a teammate over a tire wall or finding your rhythm in a group skit, expect to get out of your comfort zone and actually connect with people.
More Than Just a Hike
I believe that true leadership isn't taught in a classroom. It’s found in the mud, on the trail, and during those late-night conversations around a bonfire. My leadership and community camps, often done in collaboration with Rotaract and RYLA, are designed to strip away the city noise and get you focused on what matters: the people next to you.
What to expect at our camps:
- Active Problem Solving: We run obstacle courses that demand communication. You might be guiding a blindfolded partner through a maze or hoisting your team over a wall. It is physical, it is messy, and it is rewarding.
- Real Connections: No phones, no status games. Just a group of people trying to make a human ski or a skit work before the sun sets. We see strangers turn into a 'gang' in less than 48 hours.
- Structured & Safe: While we keep the vibe loose, safety and facilitation are key. We bring in experienced instructors to guide the workshops, so you get the adrenaline without the chaos.
Whether it’s a cleaning drive to leave a place better than we found it or a leadership workshop that pushes you to speak up, every activity has a purpose. We want you to walk away with more than just photos—you should leave with a new perspective and a circle of friends you can actually call 'brothers for life'. Hīgondu payaṇa (a journey like this) is what we live for.
