A handpicked selection of my most requested work, from personalized storytelling portraits to modern minimalist styles.

I specialize in telling your story through henna, like this custom Karwa Chauth design. It features a detailed couple portrait under the moon, capturing the essence of the celebration on one hand, and the traditional scene of a woman with a chalni (sieve) on the other.

Celebrating life's biggest moments is my passion. This unique henna design was created for a baby shower and Mundan ceremony, featuring a family portrait, the baby's first haircut, and adorable animals in a car to tell the family's story.

Mark your engagement with a design that's uniquely yours. This piece features the couple's initials "AP" in a beautiful monogram, surrounded by intricate peacock motifs and traditional patterns, symbolizing a new beginning.

Henna is for everyone in the family. I created this full-coverage, traditional design for the groom's mother, incorporating majestic elephants and blooming peacocks to celebrate her important role in the wedding festivities.

Complete your festive look with stunning feet mehendi. This design features a blend of modern and traditional elements, with delicate lotus motifs and intricate netting patterns that flow beautifully along the foot.

Siders are a modern and chic way to wear henna. Here’s a look at four different siders designs I created for a group, each with its own unique style, from bold peacocks and elephants to delicate mandalas and florals.

For those who love elegance in simplicity, I offer minimalist designs. This delicate foot mehendi features a central mandala, leafy patterns on the toes, and a beautiful chain-like design around the ankle for a subtle yet stylish look.

This video shows the application of my special Gud mehendi, or jaggery henna. I use only natural, high-quality ingredients to create my paste, which guarantees a rich, dark, and long-lasting stain for your special occasion.

About Featured

When I design a piece, I treat it as a canvas for your personal story. Whether it is an engagement piece featuring your initials or a complex Karwa Chauth portrait, I use organic, jaggery-based henna paste that leaves a deep, rich stain. I prioritize the narrative behind your henna, ensuring that symbols like the moon, traditional mandalas, or specific couple figures are integrated seamlessly into the design flow before the application begins.

How I Approach Your Mehendi

I view henna as more than just a pre-wedding ritual. It is a way to document your milestones. My process starts with understanding the occasion—whether it is a baby shower, a wedding, or a festival—and determining the level of detail required. If we are working on a bridal piece, we discuss which elements of your relationship or story you want included, such as dates, portraits, or specific travel memories.

Quality and Ingredients

A design is only as good as the stain it leaves behind. I exclusively use my own blend of organic henna, including jaggery (Gud) mehendi. This formula is prepared to ensure a dark, long-lasting maroon stain that photographs beautifully. My application technique is precise, focusing on high-definition line work that remains clear even in close-up event photography.

Customization Options

My work ranges across several styles:

  • Portrait and Storytelling: I integrate faces, figures, and scenes, ideal for bridal or Karwa Chauth events.
  • Minimalist and Siders: For those who prefer a modern look, I create delicate, jewelry-inspired patterns that run along the side of the hand or feet.
  • Traditional Coverage: For guests or family, I offer heavy, intricate traditional patterns featuring classic motifs like elephants, peacocks, and lotuses.

Travel and Logistics

Based in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, I operate a studio for local clients and travel extensively for destination weddings. Whether your celebration is in Mumbai, Goa, Dubai, or abroad, my team and I handle the logistics to ensure a smooth application experience for you and your guests.

I'm Pooja, and I believe mehendi should be more than just decoration—it should be a piece of your personal history. For over 15 years, I've traveled from Mumbai to Dubai and Kenya, helping brides and families bring their stories to life on their skin using pure, organic henna.
