About The Rich Henna Stain
The secret to a deep, dark maroon stain is not luck, but the chemistry of the ingredients. I personally mix my organic henna with jaggery (Gud) to ensure a rich color that develops fully over 48 hours. When you book me, I also provide specific aftercare instructions, such as using a lemon-sugar sealant, to help lock in that color so it stays vibrant throughout your wedding festivities.
Getting a deep, dark henna stain is a priority for every bride, but it requires patience and the right product. Many commercially available henna cones use chemical additives to get an instant black or dark color, which can be harsh on your skin and fade unevenly. My approach is different.
I use only 100% natural, triple-sifted henna powder mixed with essential oils and jaggery. This blend takes time to oxidize. When I finish your application, the stain starts as a light orange and matures into a deep maroon over the next 48 hours.
The Aftercare Ritual
The application is only half the process. To achieve the best results, follow these steps:
- Keep the henna on your skin for at least 8 to 12 hours.
- Avoid water for the first 24 hours after removing the dried henna crust.
- Apply the lemon-sugar sealant I provide once the henna is dry; it keeps the paste on the skin longer for deeper penetration.
- Keep your hands warm after removing the henna, as heat helps the color darken.
Whether you are planning for a wedding in Mumbai or a destination event in Dubai, the quality of the stain is a priority. I do not compromise on purity, ensuring your mehendi is safe for your skin and looks stunning in your photos for days.
