Ceremony Platter Decorations and Seer Varisai Setups

A look at my favorite ceremony setups, from traditional pooja trays to fun, themed wedding gifts that get guests talking.

This is a complete seer varisai setup I created, featuring a wide array of decorated platters on an artificial grass base with an elegant backdrop. It shows how I can manage and beautifully present a large number of ceremonial gifts.

A close-up of one of my wedding platters, featuring traditional Marapachi Bommai figurines made from apples. The platter is filled with high-quality dry fruits like pistachios, cashews, and almonds, all arranged in an ornate silver tray.

For a baby shower, I created this custom platter featuring a baby doll in a pink robe, nestled in a decorative floral cradle. This is an example of the themed and personalized decorations I offer for seemantham ceremonies.

This is a personalized ring platter I designed for an engagement. It features the couple's names in a beautiful golden script, surrounded by fresh flowers, making the moment even more special.

My signature pineapple bride and groom decoration. I dress up fresh pineapples in custom outfits, complete with little details, to represent the happy couple, adding a unique and fun element to wedding festivities.

I also create displays for non-food gifts. Here, a beautiful blue and pink saree and a traditional necklace are elegantly presented on a mannequin, set within a decorative silver tray for a wedding ceremony.

This is a traditional coconut decoration, where I use rich blue velvet, golden thread, and peacock feathers. This type of auspicious platter is perfect for poojas, weddings, and housewarming ceremonies.

About this collection

My process for these arrangements is straightforward: I focus on using high-quality rental trays—whether silver-toned metal or gold—and secure each item, like fruits or sarees, without causing any damage. Whether you need a sturdy setup for a large seer varisai display or a delicate ring platter, I ensure the decorative elements like kundan stones, tulle, and ribbons stay perfectly in place throughout your event.

Since 2013, I have been turning simple gifts into visual centerpieces. My style blends traditional elements with a modern twist, which is why you will see everything from Ganesha idols on betel leaf beds to pineapples dressed as a bride and groom.

For every event—be it a seemantham, wedding, or housewarming—I handle the decoration layout while you provide the gifts. I use a mix of velvet linings, artificial grass bases, and fresh floral clusters to make the items pop. If you are presenting sarees or gold jewelry, I use damage-free clips and mannequin busts so the presentation looks grand without harming the fabric or finish.

One thing to keep in mind is that I specialize in the presentation. I provide the ornate trays, decorative dolls, artificial grass, and styling props on a rental basis. You bring the fruits, nuts, sweets, and fabrics. This keeps things cost-effective while allowing us to customize the theme to your function's color palette or cultural requirement. If you have a specific idea or a photo you like, share it with me; I am always happy to try new designs to make your ceremony feel unique.
