About Natural Grass Lawns
Installing a natural lawn involves more than just unrolling grass. We start by manually clearing debris and enriching your soil with organic manure to ensure the roots actually take hold. It is a slightly dusty process during the first couple of days, but that foundational groundwork is exactly why your lawn stays lush and healthy rather than becoming patchy within a month.
When we talk about a natural lawn, we mean Mexican Carpet Grass. It is the gold standard for Indian weather because it is hardy, shade-tolerant, and provides that soft, authentic feel you just cannot replicate. However, the secret to a great lawn is 80 percent preparation and only 20 percent grass installation.
We take the hassle out of the process. Whether you have a fresh patch of land or an old, patchy lawn that needs a total renovation, our team handles the heavy lifting. This includes:
- Soil Enrichment: We mix vermicompost or cow dung manure into your topsoil to create a nutrient-rich bed for the new grass to thrive.
- Precision Leveling: We manually grade the soil to prevent water logging and ensure a perfectly flat finish.
- Installation and Rolling: We lay the carpet rolls and use a heavy drum roller to eliminate air pockets, followed by a thorough flooding to settle the roots.
The turnaround for roots to settle is typically 10 to 14 days. During this time, the lawn needs consistent care, but once established, it becomes a breathing, living part of your home. If you have an existing lawn that has seen better days, we also offer complete renovation services where we scrape out old weeds, apply anti-termite treatments, and reset the soil base before installing new sod.
