A Peek Inside My Plant Nursery
Step into my Sewri nursery. This is where I nurture my plant babies—from delicate orchids to aged bonsai—and get them ready for their forever homes.
A corner of my nursery on a sunny day. You can see some of my bonsai collection, plant stands, and shelves stocked with various pots and plants.
Plants teach us patience. Here you can see a tiny new sprout emerging from the base of this hanging kokedama. It’s a good reminder to trust the process.
This pot of Torenia, or wishbone flowers, is full of sunshine. The bright purple and white blooms make for a beautiful and cheerful flowering pot.
This lovely Phalaenopsis orchid is shining in the nursery. Orchids make such elegant living gifts, with blooms that can last for months with the right care.
What a beauty. This tall Bougainvillea, with its bright orange flowers, is potted in a dark green ceramic planter and ready to go to its new home.
About this collection
When you see these plants, you’re looking at months of careful hardening. I don't just stock them; I watch them grow, trim them, and make sure they’re tough enough to thrive in your home or office. If a plant isn't ready to leave the nursery, it stays here until it is.
The process of nurturing a plant—whether it’s a delicate Phalaenopsis orchid or a sturdy Bougainvillea—is what I call the slow game. At my nursery in Sewri, I focus on the entire lifecycle of every green friend. You’ll find visible layers of growth in my terrariums and aged, shaped branches on my bonsai trees.
I believe in practical, long-term plant care. Before any plant leaves my nursery, it undergoes a hardening process to ensure it survives the transition to your indoor or outdoor environment. If you’re looking for something specific, like a blooming Torenia for your balcony or a low-maintenance snake plant for your desk, this is where it starts. I am happy to guide you on lighting, watering, and soil health so your plants don't just survive, but truly thrive. Whether you need a single desk companion or a large statement planter for your lobby, I have something here that has been cared for one day at a time.
