Little Voices, Big Stage: Building Child Confidence
Watch our little ones find their rhythm, recite rhymes, and share thoughts with confidence at our daily podium sessions.
A beautiful start to our morning as a young student chants the 'Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu' mantra. We instill cultural values and respect through such spiritual practices, helping children connect with their roots.
Meet our cute and bold Praanvi, delivering her words of wisdom from the podium. Every child gets a chance to stand and speak, overcoming shyness and learning to articulate their thoughts clearly.
With great confidence, Advik Sharma chants a prayer to Lord Ganesha. These sessions are not just about recitation; they are about building poise, memory, and a calm, focused mind.
Little Hritvi confidently introduces herself to her friends. Simple exercises like this are the first steps in developing strong interpersonal skills and stage presence.
"Practice makes you perfect," shares Gaurik during his 'Thought for the Day'. We encourage children to learn and share positive affirmations, creating an inspiring environment for everyone.
Little Viraj reminds us that "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Our daily speaking sessions often include topics on health and wellness, making learning practical and relevant.
Shivansh Bisht shares his wisdom for the day, filling our morning with positivity. We celebrate each child's courage to speak in front of an audience, no matter how small the message.
Our little PIPian Swastik shares his words of wisdom. Even the shyest children are gently encouraged and supported by our teachers to come forward and speak.
Here is our little presenter, Anvika, confidently sharing her thoughts. Notice how her peers listen attentively, learning the important social skill of being a good audience.
"Smile is the best gift you can give to others," says Mevaan Jain. We love how our children share such beautiful and simple truths, reminding us all what's important.
About Little Voices, Big Stage
Every morning, our little ones step up to the podium for 'Thought of the Day'—a moment where they share their own words or a rhyme in front of their friends. It isn't about perfect delivery; it's about the courage to stand there, clear their throat, and express themselves. Whether they chant a mantra or recite a poem about healthy eating, we focus entirely on the joy of being heard and the pride of participating.
At Peas in Pod, we believe that confidence is a muscle—the more a child uses it, the stronger it gets. Our podium is a permanent feature in our classrooms in Sector 116 and Sector 117, serving as a dedicated space for 'Little PIPians' to find their voices.
We keep the pressure low and the encouragement high. If a child is shy, our 1:8 staff ratio ensures that a teacher is right there to gently guide them. We don't correct grammar or pronunciation during these sessions; we celebrate the effort. When little Advik chants a mantra or Anvika shares a thought on kindness, they aren't just reciting words—they are learning that their thoughts matter and that their peers are there to listen, not judge.
This practice extends beyond just standing on a stage. It ties into our 'TOTS' settling-in module, where we help children transition from home to school. By the time they move from the Playgroup to our Nursery and Kindergarten programs, these daily speaking drills turn podium time into a moment they look forward to. Parents can stay updated on these milestones via our 'Parent Bay' app, seeing firsthand how your child grows from a toddler hesitant to say hello, to a confident child leading the morning circle time.
