About this collection
When you book a homa with me, I do not just arrive to chant. I come with the materials to create a 4ft hand-drawn mandala using colored powders and fresh flowers, which serves as the focal point for our prayers. Please plan for a 4 to 6 hour window for these ceremonies so we can complete the full sequence of rituals without rushing the process.
The homa is a profound way to invoke the divine and clear the energy of your space. My process is rooted in tradition, but it also includes an artistic element that makes the ceremony visually and spiritually grounding.
My Approach to Homa Rituals
I treat every ceremony as a form of meditation. Beyond the Vedic chanting, I dedicate time to preparing the site with geometric mandalas made from colored powders and petals. These are not merely decorative; they are designed to anchor the space and invite specific divine energies.
Common Homas I Conduct
- Ganapathi Homa: This is essential for new ventures or a housewarming (Gruhapravesh) to ensure you start your new chapter without obstacles.
- Satyanarayana Pooja: A classic ceremony for family well-being, often requested for health, harmony, and gratitude.
- Sudarshana & Pavamana Homas: These are more intensive rituals focused on protection, removing negative influences, and spiritually cleansing the home environment.
What You Need to Prepare
When you book me, I handle the Vedic procedures, the Homa Kunda setup, and the ritual artistry. I ask that you provide basic perishables like milk, fruits, and Prasadam materials. The rest of the essential samagri, such as wood, ghee, and ritual powders, is included in my service.
If you have specific concerns regarding planetary afflictions, such as Sarpa Dosha or Shani-related issues, we can discuss specialized remedial rituals like the Ashlesha Bali, which require a different and highly precise technical setup. My goal is to ensure the ceremony is authentic, peaceful, and leaves your home feeling truly energized.
Phaneendra Acharya
I am Phaneendra Acharya. For me, a pooja is not just about mantras; it is an art form where I use colors and petals to draw the divine. When I perform a homa, I focus on the details that make the space feel like a true temple for your family.
