About this collection
Every housewarming I conduct goes beyond standard rituals. I spend significant time hand-drawing a custom floor mandala—often featuring Ganesha or Lakshmi—using colored powders and fresh flowers. This isn't just decoration; it is a way to mark your new space as a sacred temple, creating a focused, meditative atmosphere for the entire family during the ceremony.
The Gruhapravesh is a pivotal milestone. My approach combines the rigor of Vedic tradition with the visual beauty of sacred geometry.
The ceremony typically begins with a Ganapathi Homa, which is essential for removing obstacles as you settle into your new residence. Following this, I perform the Vastu Pooja and a Satyanarayana Swamy Pooja to invite prosperity and well-being.
Central to my service is the creation of a 3ft by 4ft deity mandala on your floor. Using vibrant natural powders and fresh petals, I design these patterns to invite specific divine energies. This process takes about 90 minutes of dedicated preparation before the rituals commence.
I arrive with a team of three priests to ensure the mantras are chanted clearly and the sequence of rituals—including the Kalasha sthapana and the entry Muhurtham—is followed precisely.
What to expect:
- Duration: 4 to 6 hours of full service.
- Preparation: I handle all ritual samagri, including ghee, firewood, and powders. You will need to arrange for basic perishables like milk, fruits, and prasadam.
- Customization: Whether you prefer a Ganesha, Vishnu, or Lakshmi theme for your mandala, we can discuss the aesthetics during our consultation.

I view my work as seva, not just a profession. When I arrive for your Gruhapravesh, I bring the same focus to the floor art as I do to the Sanskrit verses, because I believe your new home deserves a beautiful, spiritual start.
