In-Home Obedience & Good Manners Training
Don't let bad habits ruin your peace. I come to your home in Delhi NCR to teach your dog obedience using positive, leash-free methods. Let's make your champ a joy to be around.
Here is a classic in-home training session with a Labrador, working on the fundamental commands of 'Sit', 'Up', and 'Down'. Consistency with positive rewards makes the learning process fast and enjoyable.
This video shows a focused heeling exercise indoors. Teaching a dog to walk calmly by your side inside the house is the first step to achieving perfect leash manners outdoors.
How your dog enters the house sets the tone. I teach dogs to come inside calmly and wait patiently, preventing chaos at the doorway. This is a simple but very important part of house manners.
The 'place' command gives your dog a safe space to relax. Here, a happy Labrador learns to go to his designated spot, a small stool, which helps manage his energy indoors.
Training can be turned into a helpful game. In this session, I'm teaching this Labrador to fetch specific toys by name, which sharpens his mind and is also a lot of fun.
Some dogs are afraid of stairs. I help them build confidence by teaching them to go up and down stairs safely and without fear, like this German Shepherd is demonstrating.
Using hand signals along with verbal commands is a key part of my training. This Golden Retriever responds perfectly to the signal for 'down', showing how we build clear communication.
Distance control is a sign of true obedience. This Golden Retriever is learning to follow the 'Platz' or down command from across the room, proving his focus and trust in the training.
About Good Manners for a Happy Home
Training isn't just about me and the dog. I need you right there in the living room to learn the handling techniques too. If you aren't part of the process, the commands won't stick when I'm gone. We work on real-life stuff like not jumping on guests or barking at the doorbell, right where it happens.
Most behavior problems happen inside your house, so that is exactly where we start. Parks are full of distractions, but your living room is where your dog needs to learn respect. Whether it is an Indian puppy, a Labrador, or a German Shepherd, they all have a fire inside waiting to be guided.
I focus on impulse control. If your dog is constantly jumping on guests or barking at every doorbell, we fix that with 'Stay' and 'Wait' drills. We don't use fear or shouting because that just makes a dog nervous. Instead, we use treats, praise, and patience. When I say 'shabash' (well done), your dog understands they did the right thing.
I cover everything from toilet training schedules to leash walking inside the house. If you want your dog to stop stealing your slippers or nipping, we address it during our 35-45 minute sessions. You get to see the change in real-time. By the time we are done, you will know exactly how to handle your champ so that the good behavior lasts, even after I leave. It is not magic, it is just science and masti.
