• The Adjustment: They might need more time to settle. A blind dog might need you to be their eyes; a rescue with trauma might need you to be their calm. You must be willing to learn their language and respect their boundaries.
• Medical Transparency: I believe in full disclosure. If a pet has a medical condition, you will know everything—every medication, every quirk, and every precaution. I will teach you everything I know about caring for them so you feel confident from day one.
