If you are wearing a heavy silk saree, don't just drape it and hope for the best. I always recommend pre-pleating. It turns that heavy fabric into a manageable, sleek look that stays perfectly in place while you are busy with ceremonies. It is a small step, but it makes a massive difference in how comfortable you feel throughout your event.
Your wedding look is the sum of a hundred tiny details. A perfect bridal look is not just about the makeup; it is about having a saree that stays pinned, a dupatta that does not slip, and a hairstyle that looks just as good at the end of the ceremony as it did at the start.
My team and I treat hair and draping as serious business. Whether it is pinning a heavy Maang Tikka so it does not give you a headache or setting a Kashmiri Tarang headgear, we take the time to get the structure right. Draping is something many people rush, but I do not. For my South Indian brides in Kanjeevarams or Maharashtrian brides in Nauvari sarees, we pre-pleat and pin everything to make it structured yet breathable. If you are wearing a heavy double-dupatta lehenga, I will personally ensure it is secured so you can move around without worrying about the weight.
For hair, I love working with fresh flowers like mogra, baby’s breath, or roses to add that romantic touch. We do everything from Hollywood waves for receptions to intricate braided buns for weddings.
