Whether it’s the grace of a Bengali saree drape or the intricate headgear of a Kashmiri bride, I love blending traditions with my signature soft glam style. Every culture has its own beauty, and my job is to make sure you look like yourself, just radiant.

My Marathi bride Sayali in a stunning Kashmiri avatar. We created a fresh, dewy makeup look to complement the traditional Tarang headgear.

A full-length view showing how beautifully Sayali carried the complete Kashmiri look, including the intricate headgear and saree drape.

A close-up portrait highlighting the soft eye makeup, rosy cheeks, and the traditional Dejhoor earrings.

Another elegant portrait of Sayali in her unique cross-cultural bridal look.

A behind-the-scenes look at creating this Kashmiri beauty, from setting the sacred Dejhoor earrings to the final radiant result.

My glowing Nepali bride in a beautiful pink and red lehenga. I used shimmer on her eyes to make them pop and kept the rest of the makeup soft and clean.

A happy candid moment between the Nepali bride and her groom.

The couple sharing a smile, with the bride's radiant makeup shining through.

About Brides from Every Culture

Cultural makeup isn't just about the outfit; it’s about knowing the exact placement of every ornament, from a Bengali kolka bindi to a Kashmiri Dejhoor. I take the time during our trial to practice these specific settings, so on your wedding day, we aren't guessing—we are just executing perfectly.

I don't just do makeup. I do justice to the traditions you grew up with. Whether it's setting a Nikkah dupatta, pinning a Marathi Mundavalya, or perfecting the red and yellow Bengali drape, I invest time in learning these nuances. It’s not just a look; it’s respect for the ceremony.

When we work together, we start with 30 minutes of deep skin prep. It doesn't matter if you are a Nepali bride needing shimmery, open-eye makeup or a South Indian bride wanting a classic, elegant look—the base has to be hydration-rich and long-lasting. I don't believe in the 'rush-rush' approach; I prefer to take the time to layer products so your skin looks like skin, not a cakey layer.

My Cultural Process

  • Trial & Consultation: We meet at my Nerul studio to discuss your family traditions and see what matches your facial features.
  • Skin Focus: I use high-end products (MAC, Bobbi Brown, NARS) that photograph well across all skin tones, especially on brown skin.
  • Styling: From pinning the 'passa' for a Muslim bride to managing the heavy temple jewellery of a South Indian look, my team and I handle the securing so you can dance without worrying about anything falling out.
  • Travel: I travel across Navi Mumbai, Thane, and the Mumbai suburbs to bring the studio to your venue.
