Dance Studios in Koramangala and Whitefield
Whether you are looking to learn your first step or perfect your musicality, our studios are designed to be your home for dance. No stress, just movement.
A behind-the-scenes look at a practice session in our beautiful studio. We focus on building a strong foundation in a group setting that feels comfortable and encouraging for dancers of all levels.
About Our Studio & Learning Style
Our studios are not just empty rooms. We have set up both our Koramangala and Whitefield spaces with sprung wooden flooring to protect your joints and full-length mirrors to help you check your own posture. It is a closed-door environment, which means no onlookers. Whether you are coming in for a private session or joining a group batch, you get a space where you can focus on the music without feeling watched.
Why Your Learning Environment Matters
Learning to dance is vulnerable. You are trying to move your body in new ways, and the last thing you need is a crowded gym floor or a high-pressure studio vibe. We designed our centres at Koramangala and the Garden of Samskaras in Whitefield to be the opposite of that.
We focus on three things to make your learning process easier:
- The Physical Space: Dancing on concrete hurts your knees and ankles. Our sprung wooden flooring gives you the right amount of bounce, meaning you can practice longer without feeling the impact in your joints.
- Privacy and Comfort: Our classes are held in private, air-conditioned studios. We don't do 'viewing galleries.' When you are in our class, it is just you, your classmates, and the rhythm. This privacy helps you let go of your inhibitions and focus on the connection.
- Visual Feedback: Using full-length mirrors is a critical part of our teaching method. It allows you to correct your own frame and weight transfer as you watch your progress in real-time.
What to Expect in Our Classes
Whether you are signing up for Salsa On2, Bachata, or Kizomba, the teaching style stays the same: community-first. You do not need a partner to join, and you certainly do not need 'natural rhythm.'
Our instructors (including me) are there to help you break down complex moves into manageable bits. We focus on social dance etiquette as much as we focus on the steps themselves. This means you will learn how to lead and follow, how to navigate a crowded dance floor, and most importantly, how to have a conversation through dance.
If you are worried about starting from scratch, remember that every dancer in our performance team started with the exact same shaky first try. We are here to help you get past that phase, find your vibe, and hopefully, see you on the dance floor at our next social.
