Clinical Pilates for Core Strength and Wellness
Movement is medicine. My doctor-led Pilates programs focus on building a strong, resilient body from the inside out, tailored to your specific health goals.
Building a strong body is key to overall well-being and performing daily activities with ease. My Pilates classes, available online and in-clinic, are designed to improve your physical fitness through controlled, effective movements.
For athletes, Pilates is an excellent way to build core strength, improve flexibility, and prevent injuries. I create programs that support your athletic goals by enhancing your body's stability and resilience.
Many clients ask about weight loss, and the answer is yes, Pilates can be a great part of your strategy. By combining bodyweight and resistance training, it helps build lean muscle, which in turn supports a healthy metabolism.
Do you have questions like "How often should I exercise?" or "Is 20 minutes enough?". In our sessions, I answer all these questions and tailor the intensity and duration of your workout to your specific needs and goals.
Gentle movement is crucial for recovery from illnesses like COVID-19. I guide clients through mild, restorative Pilates exercises to help them slowly and safely regain their strength and lung capacity post-illness.
About Pilates for Core Strength & Wellness
In my sessions, I don't just guide you through movements. Because I am a physiotherapist, every Pilates exercise is adapted to your specific recovery needs, whether you're healing a back injury, managing sciatica, or recovering post-pregnancy. We monitor your form and vitals to ensure you’re strengthening your core without putting extra strain on your joints or spine.
Clinical Pilates is distinct from the classes you find in a regular gym. My focus is entirely on your structural health and injury prevention. We use professional mats, TheraBands, and Pilates rings to target deep core muscles that support your spine and pelvis. If you are dealing with chronic back pain, abdominal separation, or general stiffness, a standardized fitness class might actually cause more harm. My sessions prioritize your biomechanics and breathing control, ensuring that every movement contributes to your long-term stability rather than just short-term muscle fatigue. Whether you visit my clinic in New Rajinder Nagar or I come to you for home-based rehab, you are always under the supervision of a trained physiotherapist. This means we can modify your program on the fly if your pain levels fluctuate. Many of my clients come to me after trying other fitness programs that didn't address their specific musculoskeletal issues. I want to move you away from painkillers and towards a body that can support itself.
