About this collection
Most people worry if their pet will sit still, but I have learned the best shots happen when we stop trying to pose them. Whether your dog is a treat-obsessed goofball or your cat is feeling shy, we work around their mood—not against it—to capture the real family dynamic.
I often get asked if I only photograph pets who listen perfectly, and the answer is always a big no. My favorite photos are the ones where a dog is mid-sneeze, chasing a ball, or stealing a snack from the table. That is the real stuff. In these featured sessions, you will see everything from maternity announcements where the fur-baby is the star, to emotional tributes for senior dogs who have been part of the family for a lifetime.
My approach is simple: I go to where your pet is most comfortable. If that is a local park in Bangalore or your living room in Mumbai, that is where we shoot. For outdoor sessions, I look for golden hour light to keep things vibrant. For indoor or studio shoots, I bring props that help break the ice, but I rely mostly on treats, patience, and letting the chaos unfold naturally.
I travel regularly between Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad, so I am used to working in new spaces with pets who might be a little nervous at first. I always dedicate the first few minutes of any session to just hanging out—letting them sniff my camera bag or getting used to my presence—so that by the time we start shooting, I am just another friend in the room.
