Watch your child transform into an inventor! We give kids real tools and cool gadgets to dismantle, build, and learn the mechanics behind how the world works.

Welcome to the Break Apart Workshop. We give kids real tools and old electronics, empowering them to explore the complex world of circuits, motherboards, and engineering in a safe, supervised environment.

A close-up of our little engineers at work. They are carefully dismantling old gadgets, learning how each component fits and functions. This is hands-on STEM learning at its best.

Our carpentry workshop is in full swing. Kids are learning to use real tools to build their own bird feeders, mastering skills like measuring, sanding, and assembling.

A young builder using a hand planer to shape a piece of wood. We teach basic woodworking skills, fostering a sense of accomplishment and confidence.

From hammering nails to fitting pieces together, our carpentry workshops are a fantastic way for kids to learn practical skills and see their own creations take shape.

Two young carpenters focused on their projects. These workshops teach patience, precision, and the satisfaction of building something with your own two hands.

This Rube Goldberg-style machine demonstrates concepts like pulleys, ramps, and momentum. Kids love watching the chain reaction they helped to build.

A simple pulley system in action. We use models like this well to teach kids the basics of mechanical engineering and how simple machines make work easier.

This young scientist is experimenting with an Archimedes screw, a simple machine used for transferring water. It's a great way to visualize engineering principles. (Same as 17)

Exploring how an Archimedes screw works to move materials. This hands-on model makes a complex engineering concept simple and easy to understand.

About Tinker Town: Engineering & Gadgets

In our break-apart sessions, kids do not just watch, they get their hands dirty. We provide old gadgets like calculators, toasters, and motherboards, teaching them the safe, proper way to handle screwdrivers and explore internal circuits. It is the best way to satisfy that how-does-this-work curiosity without the stress of broken electronics at home.
