About A Glimpse Into Our Sessions
You won't find any textbooks here. In our sessions at the Khar lab and across Mumbai, we limit group sizes to ensure every child gets their hands dirty—literally. Whether it’s balancing projects or chemical reactions, kids work with real materials rather than screen simulations, so expect a bit of harmless mess and a lot of pride when they bring their DIY projects home.
At Nutty Scientists, we believe that if you aren't making a mess, you aren't really learning. Our sessions are built on the 'edutainment' model, where our Nutty Professors guide children through experiments that explain STEM education concepts in the most fun way possible. We ditch the rote memorization for active, experiential learning that sticks.
Why Our Sessions Work
Every workshop is designed to turn 'Why?' into 'Wow!'. By using real lab gear, safety goggles, and theatrical storytelling, we transform a room into a science discovery zone. We focus on:
- Active Problem Solving: Kids don't just watch; they build, break, and fix things.
- Confidence Building: Completing a DIY kit or a chemical reaction provides a tangible sense of accomplishment.
- Social Interaction: Whether it's a weekend workshop or a summer camp, kids learn to collaborate with their peers.
What to Expect
If you join one of our weekend blasts or holiday camps, prepare for high energy. Our instructors—our Nutty Professors—maintain a 1:8 to 1:10 student-to-instructor ratio. This ensures safety during complex experiments and gives every child enough attention to ask questions and experiment freely. We cover everything from chemistry (the gooey stuff!) to physics (the gadget-breaking stuff!) and forensics (the mystery stuff!). We provide all necessary safety gear, reagents, and materials. You just bring the curious kids, and they leave with their own completed science project.
