Sculptural 3D Wall Art and Relief Murals
Bring your walls to life with hand-sculpted textures that you can touch. We transform flat surfaces into 3D masterpieces, creating depth and character for your home or office.
This video provides a detailed look at the palette knife technique we use to build each petal of this white lotus mural. This method creates a tangible, textured finish that makes the artwork pop from the wall.
This shows our process of sculpting and painting a large Buddha relief. We can transform a flat wall into a serene spiritual centerpiece, perfect for homes, offices, or wellness spaces.
About Sculptural & 3D Wall Art
Because these 3D murals are hand-sculpted with texture paste and marble dust, they require a specific curing process to prevent cracking. We apply a hardener coat to ensure durability, but you should allow for a 7 to 14-day timeline for the art to set fully before applying any heavy cleaning or placing furniture directly against the wall.
Whether you want a spiritual centerpiece like a Buddha relief or a botanical theme like a blooming lotus, the key to 3D art is lighting. When you plan these reliefs, you need to consider where your track lighting or spotlights will hit. Because the sculpture has 1 to 2 inches of depth, a light source from the top or side will create the shadows that make the textures pop—this is where the real beauty lies.
We start by prepping your wall with a background coat, then we hand-sculpt the design using a mixture of texture paste. Once the sculpting is done, we sand it down and apply your choice of finish, such as antique gold, bronze, or a clean all-white look.
If you are planning this for a rented space, remember that these are permanent fixtures, so ensure you have long-term plans for that wall. If you prefer something portable, we can discuss canvas-based alternatives instead. Nanna academyge banni—come to the studio—and we can look at samples of these textures to see exactly what fits your space.
