Advanced Decor & Craft Workshops
Workshop Features
- Duration: Single 2-3 hour intensive session.
- All-Inclusive: Specialized tools (heat guns, molds, wax melters) and consumables are provided.
- Refreshments: Light snacks or beverages included.
Craft Variations
- Resin Art: Includes epoxy kit, pigments, and MDF base to create a wall hanging or tray.
- Candle Making: Includes soy/paraffin wax, fragrance oils, and glass jars to make scented candles.
- Decoupage: Includes MDF board, tissues, Mod Podge, and varnish to create a personalized name board.
Entry-Level Pottery & Art Workshops
Session Snapshot
- Duration: 2 to 3 hours (typically weekend mornings).
- Format: Group learning (10-15 people) with step-by-step guidance suitable for novices.
Pottery Workshop Variant
- Includes 20-30 minutes on the electric wheel and 2+ hours of hand building.
- Raw terracotta clay is provided (participants take home raw or sun-dried models).
- Note: Firing and glazing services are not included.
Painting Workshop Variant
- Covers strokes, shading, or mandala grid construction.
- Professional drawing paper is provided.
- Requirement: Participants must bring their own paints, brushes, palettes, and pencils.
10-Day Kids Art Summer Camp
Course Details
- Duration: 10 days (Monday to Friday), 2 hours per day.
- Syllabus: Rotational mix of 7+ art forms including drawing, canvas painting, clay modelling, origami, and basic resin art.
Student Kit Included
- Custom printed Art Summer Book.
- Complete material set with paints, brushes, canvas board, and clay (no personal materials needed).
Exhibition Day
- Gallery display of student artwork for parents.
- Certificate of Participation and a Trophy/Medal for every student.
- Closing celebration with cake cutting.
About Art & Craft Workshops
I’ve always believed anyone can make art, not just the “creative” types. At NS Kumbar Art Academy, I see every workshop as a way to step away from routine and dive into creativity, whether you’re 5 or 55.
Who It’s For
- Kids and teens: Our kids holiday art camps are all about discovery, not grades. Painting, crafts, Mandala art for relaxation, pottery - it’s a bit of everything. Every child leaves with new skills, a certificate, and their art showcased in a mini-exhibition.
- Adults and older kids: If you’re looking for something chill on the weekend, our themed weekend workshops are low-commitment but high on fun. One day, one new skill - decoupage, candle making, resin art, or maybe a festive DIY craft session.
How It Works
- No art background? Chindi beda (No worries)! Total beginners fit right in.
- Most workshops include all materials, especially for kids. Sometimes for special stuff, I might ask you to get a few things, but you’ll know in advance.
- The space is more adda (hangout) than classroom. Expect music, laughter, and people just happy to try something new.

My Story
Namaste, NS Kumbar here. Art has been my heartbeat from the start. My mom taught me, now I get called 'sir' by so many kids and grown-ups. It all began with one studio, now we’re all over Bangalore. Awards are nice, but watching a shy kid grow into an artist showing work in Dubai? That’s the real win. Our journey is just a big, messy, colourful painting – and everyone’s invited.
