We love taking art outdoors. This flyer was for our free "Art Sunday" event, a live nature watercolor painting workshop at JP Park. It's a wonderful way to find inspiration directly from the beauty around us.
We set up a live painting workshop at Lulu Mall to bring art to everyone. People of all ages stopped by to paint, showing that creativity can be sparked anywhere. It was a fantastic week of fun and art.
In collaboration with ArtMantram Trust, we organized "Makkalida Brushstrokes," a painting workshop and competition for kids and teens. It's always an honor to guide the next generation of artists.
About Weekend & Specialty Workshops
You don't need to be an artist to join; in fact, most people who walk through my door start by saying they cannot draw a straight line. These weekend sessions are about the process, not a museum-quality result. I keep the groups intimate so that whether you are trying your hand at resin pouring or decoupage, I can guide you through the tricky steps while you chat and unwind.
A Creative Escape
Think of these sessions less like a formal class and more like a creative hangout. We know that life in the city is fast-paced, so these workshops are built to be low-pressure and high-fun. You spend two to three hours with us, learn a new craft, and leave with a finished piece of decor you made yourself.
What We Cover
- Resin Art: We guide you through mixing, pouring, and setting resin. You’ll create your own wall hanging or tray, learning how to achieve those beautiful oceanic effects without the mess in your own home.
- Candle Making: Learn the basics of working with soy or paraffin wax, scent blending, and pouring your own set of candles.
- Decoupage: A fun, tactile way to upcycle. We show you how to layer tissues and varnishes onto MDF boards to create personalized nameplates or coasters.
