My Event Style: Matching the Vibe of Your Occasion
I believe my look is just as important as the energy I bring. From sharp formal wear to vibrant traditional attire, I style myself to match your event's theme and crowd.

About My On-Stage Style
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all look for an anchor. Whether I am handling a formal corporate gala or a relaxed beachside wedding in Phuket, my outfit is a tool to connect with the audience. I often switch from a sharp tuxedo for reception nights to breathable ethnic wear when I need to jump into the crowd for a game or a dance, ensuring I am always comfortable enough to maintain that 'full josh' energy.
Looking the part is half the battle when you are hosting. My approach to wardrobe is about situational awareness.
Why I Coordinate My Style
- Theme Matching: For my Sufi nights or Mehendi carnivals, I opt for vibrant kurtas or Indo-Western pieces. It helps break the ice immediately because the audience sees someone who belongs in the setting, not an outsider on a stage.
- The Comfort Factor: I am not a static anchor. I move, I sing, and I dance. If the event is a pool party or a destination wedding under the sun, I go for lighter fabrics and smart-casual looks. You will see me in shorts and shirts if the venue is a beach, but I still make sure it's dapper.
- Corporate Edge: When I host corporate awards or conferences, the vibe changes. I switch to classic black-and-white formal attire. It commands respect and keeps the focus on the speakers and the agenda while maintaining a polished, professional finish.
My Stylist Partners
I rely on professional styling partners like Fashion on Rent Studio to curate looks that photograph well. If you have a specific color palette for your sangeet or a dress code for your reception, let me know. I am happy to align my attire with your vision to make sure the stage looks cohesive in all your photos and videos.
Nitish Kalia
I'm Nitish, an engineer turned anchor who believes the stage is my happy place. I don't just show up in a standard suit; I dress for the story we are telling that night, whether that's a chill beach vibe or a high-octane Sangeet.
