About A Riot of Colour: Outdoor & Flowering Plants
Most of the flowering plants here, especially our Bougainvillea, are direct from our own production. This means they are already sun-hardened and ready to take on the harsh Delhi-NCR heat, unlike delicate imported varieties that often wilt the moment they hit the open sun.
Built for Delhi Heat
When you pick plants from our nursery in Samalka or Sector 79, you are getting stock that has lived its life outdoors under the sun, not in a sheltered greenhouse. Because our Bougainvillea is grown right here, it has already adjusted to the temperature spikes and dry winds we see in Delhi and Gurgaon. You do not need to baby these plants; they are tough and ready to perform.
Practical Tips for Your Garden
If you are looking at Hibiscus, Tecoma, or Roses, remember that they are hungry for sunlight. A spot that gets at least 5-6 hours of direct sun is non-negotiable if you want those blooms to keep coming.
Regarding soil, most of these come in standard nursery bags. These are just for transport. Once you get them home, move them into a porous soil mix—add some cocopeat if you want to keep the weight down—to help with drainage. If you ignore this, the roots will struggle during the monsoon season.
