Yoga for Everyone: Prop-Assisted Practice

I believe yoga is for every body, regardless of age or flexibility. I use props like chairs, blocks, wheels, and ropes not as shortcuts, but as tools to help you safely explore poses, build strength, and find correct alignment. This approach makes even challenging asanas accessible to all.

Deepening Your Practice: Asana Workshops

For those looking to go deeper, my workshops focus on specific aspects of yoga like forward bends, backbends, and hip openers. I provide detailed guidance and hands-on adjustments to help you understand the mechanics and unlock new levels in your practice.

Beyond the Mat: Breathwork & Meditation

A class is never just about physical postures. We dedicate time to calming the mind through practices like Pranayama (breath control) and Tratak (candle-gazing meditation) to reduce stress and improve focus. These moments of stillness are essential for holistic well-being.

Strength, Flow & Play

I love to mix things up to keep our practice fresh and engaging. We incorporate dynamic Animal Flow movements, use light weights for strength-focused yoga, and sometimes just play games to build cardio and community. This is where fitness meets fun.

The NYS Community: Connection & Celebration

We are more than just a studio; we are a family. We believe in building connections that go beyond the mat, whether through partner yoga, festive celebrations like Garba and Yoga Day, or our annual yogic picnics. Here, you'll find support, belonging, and plenty of laughter.
