Getting the perfect shot is never just about the outfit. I handle the logistics—from coordinating specific HMU briefs and sourcing rare jewelry to ensuring the dupatta setting is right on camera—so the final result looks effortless, even if we were running on coffee and pure chaos to get the timing right.
When you see a campaign image with Dhvani Bhanushali or a festive reel with Nushrratt Bharuccha, you are seeing the result of hours of work. My job behind the scenes is to act as the bridge between a vague creative vision and a high-impact final shot.
The 'Tamasha' Behind the Glam
People often see the polished result on Instagram, but the process usually involves a lot of moving parts. Whether I am styling a festive campaign for Benefit or prepping a custom look for a movie promotion, my approach stays consistent. I don't just pick clothes; I manage the entire visual narrative.
My Process
- Conceptualization: I start by building moodboards. If we are aiming for 'desi glam drama,' I curate the fabric and the silhouette to match the venue lighting and the camera angles.
- Technical Coordination: I provide detailed briefs to the Hair and Makeup team. The best outfit falls flat if the makeup doesn't balance the neckline or the hairstyle competes with the jewelry.
- Crisis Management: On set, I am the one with the safety pins, the fashion tape, and the stain removers. If a piece of jewelry is falling or a drape needs a quick adjustment between takes, I am right there to fix it.

My work for clients like Aza Fashions or SVA Couture isn't just about aesthetics; it is about performance. A look needs to survive long hours of shooting under bright studio lights. I focus on details like the 'fall' of a lehenga or the weight of a necklace to ensure the wearer feels confident, not constrained.
