Featured Wedding Decor and Stage Design Highlights
A look at some of my favorite projects. From grand floral stages in Mumbai to vibrant destination weddings in Igatpuri, this collection shows the scale and style I bring to every celebration.
This reception stage is one of my signature designs, featuring a massive floral canopy with thousands of cascading flowers. The combination of pink and white florals with dramatic lighting creates a romantic, dream-like atmosphere for your big day.
I love designing mandaps that feel both sacred and stunning. This pastel floral mandap was built right by the water, creating a serene backdrop for the wedding ceremony with a beautiful fountain view.
Creating a magical guest experience starts from the moment they arrive. This grand entrance tunnel uses thousands of fairy lights and hanging floral arrangements to guide guests into the main event space.
For a Sangeet night, I focus on high energy and glamour. This setup features a bold black and white chevron aisle leading to a stage with large LED screens, all under a canopy of twinkling lights for a night of celebration.
A bold statement entrance sets the tone for the entire wedding. Here, I used a dramatic arch and dense arrangements of vibrant red flowers to create a powerful and welcoming first impression for guests at this Igatpuri destination wedding.
A Haldi ceremony by the pool calls for bright, festive decor. I used a mix of hot pink florals and traditional elements to create a fun and picturesque setting at the Paramount Resort in Karjat.
About Featured
When you look at these stages and mandaps, it is easy to focus on the flowers, but the real work happens in the planning phase. For our grand 40-60ft reception stages, we use heavy-duty box-trussing that supports crystal chandeliers and LED screens, which requires specific venue clearance. Before you finalize your date, let’s talk about your venue's ceiling height and floor plan to see which of these structures will fit safely and look the most balanced for your guest count.
At New Sangam Decorators, I have spent over 50 years moving beyond standard rentals. My approach is simple: if you can imagine the look, I build the structure to support it. Whether it is a poolside Haldi in Karjat or a high-traffic reception at an Islam Gymkhana event, I manage the design, the build, and the lighting in-house. This means no third-party contractors and no last-minute surprises.
When you plan with me, we start with the venue constraints. My gallery shows what is possible, but every location in Mumbai has different rules regarding stage height, rigging, and electrical power. I will walk you through what works—like where to place a mandap for the best natural light or how to set up an entrance tunnel that won't crowd the pathway.
My work falls into three core areas:
- Structural Decor: Large-scale mandaps and reception stages that require architectural planning.
- Floral Artistry: I focus on volume and density, using real-touch artificial flowers for massive backdrops combined with fresh blooms for the areas close to guests.
- Lighting and Flow: I integrate intelligent lighting rigs and LED screens directly into the decor, so you are not left searching for a separate vendor to handle the visual impact.
If you are tired of seeing the same generic wedding setups and want a team that understands how to manage the logistics of a big Indian wedding, I am here to help.
