If you’re worried about how your toddler will handle a studio session, let me put your mind at ease. I don't follow a strict checklist. We take breaks, let them play, and wait for those genuine, unscripted laughs. My job is to make sure you all feel like yourselves, not like you are performing for a camera.
When you bring your family into my studio in Mumbai or Pune, the goal is simple: comfort. Whether it is just the two of you or you are bringing an older child who is about to become a big brother or sister, I create a space where you can let your guard down.
I often hear from parents that they are nervous about 'managing' their kids for a shoot. I tell them the same thing: don't worry about it. My approach to family maternity photography is rooted in play and interaction. If your child wants to explore the studio or needs a snack break, we take one. This patience allows me to catch the real connections—the way your partner holds your hand, or how a sibling gently touches your belly.
I encourage you to bring things that tell your story. Do you have a sonography report, a pair of tiny shoes, or a specific prop that means something to you? We will work that into the set. My studios are equipped with versatile backdrops and lighting setups that I adjust to fit the mood you want, whether that is bright and airy or something more moody and classic.
From the moment you walk into the studio, we spend time settling in before we even touch the camera. This way, by the time we start, you have forgotten the equipment is there and are just enjoying the time together.
