Your Wedding Story in Henna: Custom Bridal Mehandi in Delhi
I turn your special wedding moments—from your varmala exchange to a favorite proposal memory—into intricate, hand-drawn henna narratives. Every design tells a unique story that lasts.
This design tells a story in panels, like a comic strip. It includes a Ganesha for blessings, a doli scene, and a couple portrait, capturing different parts of the wedding journey.
A very personal design that includes the vidaai scene with the bride in a car, alongside the couple exchanging rings. I can incorporate any special moment into your mehndi.
This intricate design showcases a beautiful varmala ceremony on the palms, with a detailed baraat procession featuring elephants and musicians on the forearms.
A romantic proposal scene is captured on the palms, with the groom on one knee. The design is complemented by palace architecture and traditional motifs on the arms.
This mehndi is a full narrative, showing the couple's portraits, the varmala exchange, the doli procession, and other wedding rituals, all woven together with fine-line patterns.
This video shows how I create a detailed doli (palanquin) scene, from the initial sketch to the final filled design. It's a popular and beautiful element for bridal mehndi.
This bride wanted to include her beloved pet in her wedding story. I added a paw print with their names, "Bozo" and "Buzo," making the design incredibly personal and unique.
A modern love story in henna, this design features a proposal scene on one palm and the couple's initials on the other, surrounded by lotus and swan motifs.
Here, the couple's names, "Karan ki Garima," are beautifully written into the design. I can seamlessly integrate names, dates, or hashtags into any bridal mehndi.
This design is a beautiful tribute to family, with portraits of the bride and groom with their respective families on each palm, and wedding scenes on the arms.
About Your Wedding Story in Henna
Choosing the scenes for your story mehandi takes a little planning before the wedding day. I work with you to pick the moments that matter—whether it is your first meeting, a funny proposal, or a traditional baraat scene—and sketch them out so they fit naturally on your arms. It is not just about filling space, but about making sure the faces and details look like you when the henna finally stains.
My 'Signature Love Story' style is where I combine traditional Rajasthani and Marwari motifs with modern narrative art. It takes 6 to 8 hours to complete because of the fine-tip work required for realistic portraits and tiny details.
What I need from you
If you want a specific scene, like your varmala or a photo of your pet, please send me a clear picture at least a week before the event. I sketch the outline on your skin first so you can see how the story flows and make adjustments before I start with the henna paste.
My technique
I use only organic, triple-sifted henna mixed with eucalyptus oil to ensure the color comes out deep and dark. The process covers from your palm up to your shoulders. Because this requires extreme precision, I do all the portrait and story work personally; I do not hand off the main details to my team.
Booking and Travel
I work from my studio in Tilak Nagar, but I frequently travel to venues across Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida for bridal bookings. Since I only take on one detailed bridal booking for this style per day to maintain quality, it is better to book at least 15 days in advance, especially during the wedding season.
Naveen Rathore
I’m Naveen, and I have spent the last 17 years in Tilak Nagar, Delhi, perfecting the art of henna. For me, every mehandi design is a conversation, not just a pattern. When I sit down to draw your story, I am thinking about how to make it look exactly like you.
