About Timeless Black & White Portraits
We use specific high-contrast studio lighting to create these images, which works best when you wear solid-colored, fitted outfits that hug your bump. Unlike our color sessions where props play a big part, these portraits focus entirely on your silhouette and expressions, so we keep the set minimal to make sure the light does all the work. It is all about capturing that quiet, powerful connection you have with your little one before they arrive.
Why Black and White?
Color is great, but black and white photography is a different beast. It removes the distraction of vibrant backdrops and clothing, forcing the viewer to focus on what matters most: your expression, the shape of your bump, and the connection you share with your partner. We love how it turns a simple photo into a piece of art that looks just as good in a frame twenty years from now as it does today.
How We Prepare for Your Session
