About Shimmers & Special Effects
Getting that perfect mirror-like chrome or the deep, moving shimmer of a cat-eye effect is all about the foundation. I spend time prepping your nail bed with a precise dry manicure before any polish touches it, which ensures the gel adheres properly so your set lasts 3-4 weeks without chipping or peeling.
When it comes to ombre, the secret is in the blend. Whether you want a soft pastel transition for summer or a bold, dark-to-light gradient, I use sponges and precise layering techniques to get that seamless fade. For chrome and metallic powders, I apply a specific non-wipe top coat before buffing in the pigment. This creates that solid, uniform reflection that will not flake off.

Just keep in mind that chrome and 3D accents are prone to wear and tear if you are very rough with your hands, so I recommend keeping some cuticle oil handy to maintain the shine.
