When I work on terraces with stone pavers, I take the time to cut the artificial grass around every single slab. This ensures the turf lies flat without gaps, looks like a natural lawn, and most importantly, does not block your existing drainage.
You don't need a massive budget to fix up your outdoor space. Whether you have a small apartment balcony or a large open terrace, I focus on the basics that matter: a clean, green look that stays that way all year.
Choosing Your Grass
- 35mm Grass: This is my go-to for standard balconies. It gives you that soft, lush feel underfoot without being too thick.
- 50mm Luxury Turf: If you have a kids' play area or a terrace where you want to walk barefoot, this is the one. It’s denser and feels closer to natural grass.

The backing is pre-punched for drainage, so rain water flows out rather than pooling up, which keeps everything clean and dry. I check your surface, clean it, and then paste the grass with industrial adhesive to make sure it handles the wind and weather.
