Our Mission: Building a Real Basketball Community in Mumbai

We set up base at the Bombay YMCA in Borivali West for a reason. We did not want a sterile training room—we wanted hard concrete, floodlights, and the noise of a real crowd. It is the perfect place to get that authentic streetball experience where you actually feel the game speed, instead of just running practice drills.

Growing up watching the NBA, I always felt the gap between watching the pros and what was available locally. Schools usually treat basketball like a boring PT class. That ends here. We founded MVP Sports Academy to change the narrative. We focus on basketball culture—it is about the grind, the competition, and the community.

Why We Do It

Competition makes you better. You can practice for years, but until you are under the lights with a crowd watching, you aren't playing for real. We organize these leagues because we want to see players from Borivali and across Mumbai get the recognition they deserve. Our academy is not just about teaching you how to shoot. It is about understanding the flow of the game.

Expect music, intensity, and high-level play. Whether it is a 3v3 streetball tournament or our U-16 youth leagues, we bring the energy.
