From an empty plot to a thriving hub with five clay courts, discover the journey behind our tennis academy.

This is how it all began. I wanted to share the journey of transforming this empty piece of land in Seegehalli into the five court tennis academy it is today.

A short video from when we were just about to open our Seegehalli branch. It's amazing to look back and see how far we've come.

Before we laid the first layer of clay, we held a Bhoomi Puja to bless the ground. For me, the academy is more than a business; it's a community built on strong foundations and traditions.

Celebrating 11 years of Murugan Academy of Tennis. I am incredibly grateful to my team, our students, and their parents for being a part of this amazing journey.

About this collection

When I started here in 2013, it was just a patch of land and a lot of hope. Now that we have grown to five courts, I make sure that whether you are a competitive player training for a tournament or just coming for a hobby session, you feel like you are stepping into a family home rather than just another commercial sports facility.

The growth of this academy has never been about scaling for the sake of it. It has always been about building a foundation for the tennis community here in Seegehalli. Every stone we laid and every layer of clay we put down was done with a purpose.

We began with two courts and a simple dream, and through years of sweat, discipline, and support from the parents and students who believed in us, we expanded to five professional-grade red clay courts. This surface remains our pride because it is gentle on the joints, which is crucial for long-term players.

But if you talk to anyone who trains here, they will tell you the real 'facility' is the culture. We hold our Bhoomi Puja, we celebrate student birthdays, and we share chai after practice. This is the home base for national and international level athletes, yet we maintain an environment where beginners feel comfortable asking questions. If you are looking for a place where coaching feels like mentorship and the atmosphere pushes you to work hard without the pressure of a cold, transactional environment, you have found the right spot.

I am Murugan, and I’ve spent the last 11 years turning a patch of mud into a home for tennis players. My brother Raju and I are here on the courts every day, coaching, chatting, and cheering our students on. For us, tennis is not just a business; it is our life.
