Music, Movement & Storytime for Toddlers in Bangalore
Let your little one explore rhythm, dance, and imagination in our cozy, parent-child sessions. We turn sensory play and storytelling into confidence-building milestones.
Exploring a real keyboard is always a highlight. I guide each child to press the keys and listen to the sounds they create, which is a foundational experience for understanding music and cause and effect.
Here you can see one of our quiet storytime moments, where children are completely absorbed in the narrative. This part of the class is essential for language development, building vocabulary, and teaching valuable social and emotional lessons in a gentle way.
In this session, our theme was animals! We used soft toys for an interactive story, which helps children connect words to objects and engage their imagination. It’s a fun way to learn about the world around us.
About Music, Movement & Storytime
You don't need a musical background to join. Every 45-minute session is designed for you and your child to move together, using real keyboards and interactive props. We keep groups small, so there is plenty of room for your toddler to explore at their own pace without any pressure to perform.
How Our Sessions Help Your Child Grow
These sessions are about more than just keeping toddlers busy. We focus on the 'why' behind every activity. When we use instruments like keyboards, we aren't just making noise; we are introducing concepts of pitch, cause, and effect. When we move to music, we are developing gross motor skills and spatial awareness.
What You Can Expect
Each 45-minute class is structured to keep engagement high:
- Circle Time & Sing-alongs: We start by settling in with group songs that build listening skills and familiarity.
- Music & Movement: We use live backing tracks, finger play, and real instruments to get those little bodies moving.
- Interactive Storytelling: This is where we wind down. We use puppets and visual props to narrate stories, which helps significantly with vocabulary building and emotional regulation.
- Parent-Child Connection: This is a non-competitive, floor-seating environment. You participate with your child, which makes the transition into group social settings much easier for them.
Why Play-Based Learning?
I believe that for children aged 9 months to 2.6 years, learning happens best when they don't realize they are learning. Whether we are doing parachute play to learn coordination or using sensory bins with dyed rice for texture discovery, the goal is always to spark joy. We host these sessions at various partner locations across Bengaluru, including Namma Nook on New BEL Road, to ensure families have a space nearby that feels like home.
