Cinematic Solo & Couple Portraits
I don't just take photos, I capture the mood. Whether it's a quiet walk along Marine Drive or the raw energy of a Mumbai monsoon, I am here to film the story you’re living right now.
A solo portrait session with a vintage Ambassador car. The rustic setting and the model's confident pose create a timeless, powerful image.
A beautiful portrait of a woman in a saree, with the hazy backdrop of the sea. This shot is all about grace, elegance, and a sense of calm.
A stylish solo portrait at Bandra Bandstand. The model's pose and the iconic Sea Link in the background make for a modern and fashionable shot.
Na tumse hai koi kahin... A romantic video showing a couple's journey from the mountains to the sea, perfect for a pre-wedding film.
A woman walks through the rain in a black dress, umbrella in hand, against the backdrop of Mumbai's colonial architecture. A truly cinematic solo portrait.
A close-up portrait in the rain, capturing a raw and direct gaze. These are the moments of quiet intensity I love to find in a solo shoot.
Another powerful portrait from the same monsoon series, where the model's expression tells a story of its own.
A candid moment during a rainy day shoot. The soft light and genuine expression make this portrait feel authentic and alive.
A full-length shot of the model with her umbrella, framed by the arches of a heritage building. This shows how I use location to enhance a portrait.
Leaning against a vintage car, this portrait has a classic, almost rebellious feel. It's about capturing an attitude, not just a picture.
About Solo & Couple Portraits
When we shoot, it is not about standing still for the camera. My style is about movement—catching the way you laugh, the wind in your hair, or the soft light during a sunset. I use a mix of hybrid gear, including professional cameras and mobile clips, to get those raw, candid angles that make your photos feel less like a static portrait and more like a scene from a film.
Portrait photography for me is about finding the sukoon (peace) in the chaos of Mumbai. I have spent years chasing the right light at Bandstand and finding shelter in the arches of South Bombay, and I bring that same eye to your session.
Why my portrait style is different
I avoid the typical 'stand here and smile' approach. Instead, we treat your shoot like a day out. Whether you want to explore the city, walk through the rain, or sit quietly by the sea, I focus on the moments in between the poses. That is where the real story lives.
What we can create together
- Moody Monsoon Sessions: If you love the rain, we will embrace it. Wet streets and grey skies create the most cinematic backgrounds, perfect for a darker, more dramatic look.
- Golden Hour Walks: For something warm and timeless, we can head out during sunset. We will focus on natural light and the silhouettes of the city skyline.
- Urban & Heritage Shoots: From old Bombay architecture to modern Bandra landscapes, I use the city as a canvas to frame your personality.
How I work with you
I am a bit of a tech nerd, so I bring both professional gear for sharp quality and my phone for those quick, candid, vertical clips that look great on social media. My goal is to make sure that by the time we wrap, you have a set of images that feel completely yours—not a carbon copy of someone else’s Pinterest board.
