About Vintage Bombay
I hunt for these locations when the city is still sleeping. Getting that perfect frame of a classic car against a heritage building needs empty streets and the right sunrise light, which is why I always recommend early morning slots for this specific aesthetic.
When I look at a frame, I am not just seeing a car or a building. I am looking for the story behind it. Old Bombay has a distinct personality, and capturing it requires patience. Whether it is the Victorian Gothic architecture of the CSMT building or the Art Deco vibes of Ballard Estate, my goal is to transport you back in time.
For these shoots, I prefer using my hybrid camera setup. It allows me to switch between professional cinematic shots and those quick, iPhone-style movements that add a raw, realistic feel to the final video. I often use a warm, vintage colour grade to make the images feel like they were pulled from an old film reel.
We don't just pick a spot; we pick a mood. If you want that monsoon melancholy, we hit South Bombay when the streets are wet. If you want that grand, sunny elegance, we head to the fort area early to beat the traffic. It is about making the city’s history part of your own personal story. If you have a specific car or a piece of heritage you want to feature, let's talk about how to light it right.
