My Approach to Aerial Storytelling
Filmmaking is about capturing the 'Ajun thodasa thamb na' moment—the instant when a view makes you want to stay a little longer. Whether I am shooting the mist over Vandri Lake or the rhythmic waves at Bhuigaon beach, I look for the textures and patterns that the naked eye often misses.
Technical Precision
I fly the DJI Air 3S because it handles Mumbai’s coastal wind with stability, allowing me to focus on composition. I shoot in 4K at 60fps, which gives us the flexibility to pull high-quality slow motion in post-production. My workflow involves:
- Flight Strategy: Mapping paths for parallax effects and subject tracking.
- Lighting: Waiting for the golden hour to get those deep, rich colors.
- Color Grading: Hand-grading every file in DaVinci Resolve to match the natural, lush palette of the location.

My gear and I are regulars across the Vasai-Virar, Palghar, and Saphale belt. I know these terrains well, which helps me identify the best flight zones for property showcases, travel vlogs, or environmental storytelling.
