About Behind The Scenes & Student Work
In my classes, we do not just copy styles; we understand structure. You will see my students practicing 'pulling' and 'lining' techniques to ensure a bun or braid stays secure for hours. It is all about the foundation—once you get the hair prep and crimping right, the style holds through any event, even when you are adding heavy jewelry or fresh flowers.
When you see a flawless hairstyle, it is easy to miss the hours of preparation that went into it. In these behind-the-scenes glimpses, I share what really happens at the Monu Hair Academy. Whether it is an online masterclass or a hands-on session at our Paschim Vihar studio, the focus remains the same: mastering the foundation.
We break everything down into manageable techniques. You will often see me demonstrating 'box sectioning' or explaining why we use a 25mm tong to create volume at the crown. My students spend a lot of time on dummies, learning how to use bobby pins and invisible elastics so they disappear into the hair.
Why practical learning matters:
- Texture Control: We teach you how to manage frizz before you even pick up a styling tool.
- Volume Hacks: It is not about using more hair; it is about proper crimping and using Velcro rollers for natural bounce.
- Long-Lasting Hold: A hairstyle should look as good at midnight as it did in the morning. We practice 'pulling' and 'spreading' to ensure every braid and bun is sturdy.
Whether you are a professional stylist in Delhi looking to sharpen your skills or a client curious about the prep, these clips show the reality of the work. If you have any questions about my next masterclass or want to learn a specific technique, reach out.
