About First Birthday Cake Smashes
My cake smash sessions follow a simple, stress-free three-stage flow. We start with clean formal portraits, move to the messy cake smash, and finish with a relaxing splash in a vintage tub. I handle the setup, the mess, and the cleaning, so you can just focus on capturing those priceless, gooey-handed giggles.
A first birthday session is more than just photos, it is a fun experience for your little one. My studio in DLF Phase 5 is fully equipped to bring your vision to life. I provide all the custom decor, from balloon arches to themed backdrops like ice cream carts, jungle safari foliage, or rainbow displays. The 2.5-hour session is paced entirely around your baby's needs, meaning we build in plenty of time for snacks, feeding, and soothing.
We start with the pre-smash formal portraits so you have some clean shots for prints and invites. Then comes the main event—the cake smash—where we let the baby explore the texture, taste, and mess of their birthday cake. Finally, we move to the splash portion with a bubbly bath in a vintage tub, which is usually the part that gets the biggest smiles. I also include two costume changes and have a studio wardrobe filled with tutus, rompers, and knitted outfits, so you do not need to worry about the styling. Just bring your baby and their favorite snacks, and I will handle the rest.
