About Family & Sibling Portraits
I keep my family sessions free of rigid instructions because I want to capture the honest interactions that define your daily life. When I bring parents, siblings, and even the family pet into the frame, the focus remains on the messy, beautiful reality of your bond rather than getting everyone to stare at the camera.
Many parents worry that a family photoshoot means stressful, forced posing that leaves children cranky. My approach is entirely different. Whether we are meeting at my studio in DLF Phase 5 or at a quiet park across Delhi-NCR, the goal is interaction. I want to capture the way your toddler reaches for their older sibling or the quiet, reassuring look between parents.
We prioritize comfort above all else. If we are shooting outdoors, I love using natural light and the greenery of local gardens to create a relaxed backdrop. In the studio, I have the props and space to let kids move around. I encourage outfits that feel like you, whether that is casual denims, comfortable festive wear, or whatever makes your family feel at home.
I always include siblings and pets because they are part of the story. If you are planning a milestone shoot for a baby, adding the family members creates a complete record of this time. My sessions include buffer time for feeding, changing, and just letting everyone get settled before we start shooting, so nobody feels rushed.
