About this collection
When we shoot these heritage portraits, I look for the architecture of the wada to frame the emotion, not just the outfit. Whether it’s the drape of a Paithani or a quiet ritual by the Tulsi plant, my aim is to make these images feel like they belong to a family album rather than a staged catalog.
There is a specific stillness in traditional Maharashtrian settings—the courtyard of a classic wada, the temple steps, or the quiet shade of a banyan tree. In this cluster, I focus on capturing the interplay between the couple and the space. I avoid loud, artificial studio sets, preferring locations that carry history. When we plan these shoots, we look at outfit coordination that complements the earthy tones of heritage sites, ensuring the textures of your Nauvari saree or silk kurta stand out against the raw stone and wood.
