About Designer Lookbooks & Campaigns

When shooting a lookbook or campaign, I prioritize a tethered workflow that allows for live monitoring. We see the exact garment details, fabric texture, and color accuracy on the screen as we shoot, ensuring every frame is campaign-ready right there in the studio.

My approach to fashion campaigns and designer lookbooks is driven by the final output. I believe the images should not just represent the clothing but tell a story that feels authentic to the brand. Having worked on campaigns for designers like Nikhil Thampi and brands like Lavie, I understand the technical requirements of commercial photography: color precision, shadow control, and consistent aesthetics across a series of images.

The process starts well before the lights are set. We begin with a mood board consultation to align on the visual direction, whether that involves dramatic studio lighting for a high-fashion look or natural light setups for outdoor storytelling. On set, I manage the workflow, including directing talent and coordinating with stylists, makeup artists, and production crews to keep the shoot moving efficiently.

For studio-based lookbooks, I use comprehensive lighting setups to ensure shadow-free catalog images that focus entirely on the garment's cut and fabric. For outdoor campaigns, I use the location as a narrative element, carefully balancing ambient light with portable strobes to achieve a cinematic look. Every shoot includes a live tethered setup, so clients can approve the framing, styling, and lighting in real-time, removing the guesswork from the post-production stage. Whether you need a full-day commercial catalog or a high-end hero shoot for a brand launch, the goal is always the same: clean, high-impact imagery that hits the mark.
