Modern Pre-Draped Sarees for Your Reception

The biggest fear with a traditional saree is it coming undone while you are trying to enjoy your own event. That is why my pre-draped process is built for movement.

I work with fabrics like flowy Georgette and soft silk because they drape beautifully but still give you enough structure to hold the pleats in place all night. Whether it is for a Sangeet night or a cocktail reception, the goal is to give you that classic Indian look without the usual stress of getting the pallu length right.

Every piece includes:

• Integrated Shapewear: I sew the matching mermaid-cut underskirt or petticoat directly into the saree, ensuring a smooth silhouette.
• Fixed Draping: The pleats are pre-stitched to your exact height, so you never have to worry about tripping.
• Custom Kamarpata (Belt): I create a detachable belt to pull the look together. It acts as a focal point but also serves a practical purpose by locking the pallu in place.

During the Lagna Sarai season, my Navi Mumbai studio gets quite busy. If you have a specific date for a wedding, let's start the design chat at least two to three weeks before the function. This gives us enough time to finalize the dyeing, source the right borders, and get the fitting perfect.
