Soulful Mandaps and Ceremony Design
I design intimate ceremony spaces that feel like a quiet, honest reflection of your love story, whether you are drawn to minimalist florals or vibrant, temple-inspired aesthetics.
A view of the couple during their ceremony, seated within the minimalist floral mandap I designed. The layers of white tuberose garlands created a beautiful, fragrant curtain that felt both intimate and grand.
This video shows the details of a minimalist wedding I planned. From the delicate floral hangings to the cones of petals placed on each guest's chair, every element was chosen to create a cohesive and serene aesthetic.
The moment you've dreamt of. This video captures the couple's first kiss as husband and wife under the beautiful mandap, a culmination of all the planning and a memory they will cherish forever.
Here’s how I transformed a raw outdoor space into a chic temple-style wedding venue. The video shows the vibrant marigold mandap, the guest seating arrangement, and the energetic entrance with dhol players, all coming together to create a magical atmosphere.
A beautiful portrait of the couple after their ceremony. The bride is wearing a traditional yellow silk saree, and the groom is in a custom-embroidered sherwani, perfectly complementing the lush, natural setting of their intimate wedding.
About Soulful Mandaps & Ceremony Design
My mandaps are designed for intimate gatherings of 45-50 guests, ensuring the focus remains on your pheras rather than a massive crowd. I prioritize natural materials like fresh tuberose, banana leaves, and brass accents, keeping the decor grounded and authentic to the ritual rather than using heavy, artificial structures.
A mandap is not just a backdrop; it is where you take those first steps into a life together. My approach is to move away from standard stage decor and focus on organic, breathable ceremony spaces that hold meaning.
For a minimalist aesthetic, I often use layers of fresh white tuberose or jasmine, creating a soft, fragrant curtain that frames the two of you without overpowering the natural beauty of your venue. If you prefer something more traditional, we can bring in a 'temple vibe' using structural banana leaves, clusters of vibrant orange marigolds, and warm brass oil lamps.
Because I focus on intimate guest lists, every detail is visible and intentional. I include interactive elements to involve your guests, such as placing cones of fresh petals on each chair for the flower shower or providing vintage brass bells for guests to ring during the ceremony. It makes the ritual feel communal rather than a spectator event.
I am based in Mumbai but I regularly travel to Pune, Chennai, and Surat to set up these spaces. Whether you want a home setup or a ceremony in a private garden, let’s talk about how to make your ceremony space feel like a true reflection of you.
