A massive 4K screen doesn't mean much if your audio is echoing off bare walls. That is why we treat every room with professional sound-absorbing panels before we install a single speaker. You get a space where the sound is tuned for clarity, ensuring you hear every whisper and explosion exactly the way the director intended, without any distracting room noise.
Think about the last time you were at a mall cinema. The sound hits you from everywhere because the room is designed to handle audio. Many people try to replicate that at home with high-end speakers, but skip the room treatment. That is a mistake. Without acoustic panels, your expensive audio setup will just sound messy.
At Miniplex, our process starts with the room. Whether you are coming to our Gurugram private theater or having us build one in your home, we focus on the hardware-software-environment balance.
- The Sound: We use calibrated 5.1.2 or 7.1 Dolby Atmos systems. This isn't just 'loud' audio; it is layered sound. You should hear the rain falling behind you and the dialogue crisp in front of you.
- The Visuals: We stick to 4K laser projectors paired with fixed-frame acoustic screens. Unlike white walls or cheap roll-down screens, these ensure the contrast and black levels stay deep and punchy, even if there is a little ambient light.
- The Calibration: Once the gear is up, we test. We adjust the EQ and projector settings so the picture isn't too bright or washed out.
