Custom Private Home Theater Installations
I bring the real movie theater experience into your living space. From custom 3D acoustic designs to Dolby Atmos calibration, I build setups that let you fully escape into the film.
This is what a dedicated private theater can look like. For this project, I used custom blue tufted acoustic wall panels and a starlight ceiling to create a truly luxurious escape for the client to enjoy movies with family.
Here is a complete walkthrough of a theater I set up in Dehradun. It features a massive 150-inch projector screen paired with an LG 4K projector and comfortable tiered recliners, ensuring everyone has the perfect view.
This project was for a clubhouse in Gurgaon, showing that I can handle large-scale installations. I designed a 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos setup with Bose speakers to provide an incredible audio experience for a bigger audience.
Everything starts with a plan. I create detailed 3D visualizations like this one to show you exactly how your room will look, from speaker placement and seating layout to the final lighting design, before any work begins.
A key part of an immersive experience is hiding the speakers. Here, my team is installing a 150-inch acoustically transparent screen, which allows sound to pass through directly from the action while the speakers remain completely invisible.
This theater in Janakpuri features a clean, modern design with integrated wall lighting. I installed a full surround sound system with a ceiling-mounted laser projector to create a sleek and powerful entertainment space.
Quality sound depends on quality equipment. This is a Klipsch THX-504 in-wall speaker I used for a project. Unboxing and installing high-performance components like these is a critical step in building a true home cinema.
About this collection
It is not just about buying expensive equipment; it is about how that gear behaves in your specific room. I spend my time getting the acoustic panels and soundproofing right so that when you sit back, the audio hits exactly as it should. Whether we are unboxing high-end Klipsch speakers, hiding cables behind fabric walls, or calibrating a Marantz receiver to get that deep bass, I treat every site as if it were my own cinema.
Building a dedicated home theater is a structural project, not just an electronic one. My process begins with a detailed 3D visualization. We look at everything—where the speakers go, the angle of your recliners, and how we can hide all the wiring so you see the movie, not the tech.
The Build Process
- Acoustic Treatment: This is the most critical step. I install rockwool insulation and custom fabric panels at specific reflection points. This stops echo and ensures you hear every whisper and explosion clearly.
- Concealed Architecture: For a clean, professional look, I often use acoustically transparent screens. We put the speakers behind the screen and the fabric walls, so the sound comes directly from the image.
- The Gear: I work with brands like Denon, Klipsch, DALI, and Sony. We calibrate the system using 7.2.4 or 9.2.4 setups, ensuring the Dolby Atmos height channels create a 3D sound bubble around you.
I handle projects across Delhi, Gurgaon, and beyond. If you have a room that feels like a standard bedroom right now, we can turn it into a dedicated cinema space with motorized recliners and star ceilings. When we finish a site, I make sure the audio is tuned until it hits that 'wow' moment. It is about getting the frequency response right, checking the projector throw, and ensuring your comfort.
