We scale our cinema expertise for public spaces, designing auditoriums and multiplexes where acoustics, sightlines, and high-fidelity sound take center stage.

A view of a luxury multiplex I designed. It features a galaxy ceiling, individual lamps for each seat, and premium recliners to offer a truly high-end cinema experience.

The side view of the multiplex highlights the spacious layout and the warm, inviting atmosphere created by the custom lighting.

A side view of the same multiplex concept, emphasizing the wall-mounted speakers and acoustic paneling that are crucial for delivering clear sound throughout a large space.

About this collection

In a commercial multiplex, the biggest challenge isn't just the screen—it's managing sound containment so high-volume audio in one auditorium doesn't bleed into the next. We use 'box-in-box' isolation techniques and mass-loaded vinyl to ensure a professional, interference-free experience, even in tight urban footprints.

Designing a commercial multiplex or an auditorium is a different ballgame compared to a home setup. While a private home cinema focuses on intimacy and luxury, a commercial space demands strict adherence to sightlines, emergency egress standards, and multi-auditorium sound isolation.

The Engineering Behind the Screen

We approach every commercial project with a focus on durability and performance. It starts with the foundation—literally. We calculate the correct raked seating angles to ensure every person in the row has an unobstructed view, regardless of screen size.

Our acoustic strategy for large spaces involves:

  • Sound Isolation: Preventing low-frequency vibrations from traveling through structural beams using vibration dampeners and MLV (mass-loaded vinyl).
  • RT60 Optimization: Tuning the room's reverberation time specifically for public address and film audio, using high-density acoustic panels that are fire-rated to commercial standards.
  • Sightline Geometry: Ensuring the 'c-value' (the clearance between the viewer's eye and the row in front) is mathematically precise for every seat in the house.

Whether you are converting an existing office space into a screening room or building a new auditorium from scratch, we handle the integration of high-lumen laser projectors and professional-grade audio processors. A commercial build is a long-term investment, which is why we prioritize easy-access wiring channels and modular panel systems that allow for maintenance without tearing down the wall finish.
