Professional Newborn Posing and Safety Standards
I prioritize your baby's comfort above all else. Every pose you see is executed with certified safety training, using gentle support and expert techniques.
This time-lapse video shows me setting up a newborn shoot from scratch, arranging the basket, fabrics, and lighting before the baby is placed for the shot.
A behind the scenes look at a moon and stars themed shoot, showing how I safely position the baby. The ideal time for these sleepy poses is between 8-21 days of birth.
The final result of a 'froggy pose', where the baby appears to be resting their chin on their hands. This is a composite image created with full support for the baby at all times.
Another variation of the safe 'froggy pose', this time with the baby resting their head on a small pillow. This pose requires specialized training to execute safely.

This video shows the process of a Harry Potter themed shoot and explains the ideal age window for newborn photography.
About My Process: Safety & Posing
The 'froggy pose' you see in my gallery is never achieved without support. It is a composite image, meaning I always have a spotter or my own hand supporting the baby's head and neck at every second. My studio in Kopar Khairane is climate-controlled, ensuring the temperature remains perfect for a sleepy, comfortable newborn, because a cold baby is never a happy baby.
When you choose me, you are choosing a photographer who puts safety first. My studio in Kopar Khairane is designed specifically for this. It is kept warm to keep your baby sleepy, and every prop is sanitized between sessions.
The Posing Process
You might see complex images, like the 'froggy pose' or head-on-hands shots, and worry about your baby's neck support. You should be worried! That is why I never perform these without a spotter or my own hand providing continuous support. These images are composites, which means I take two photos and blend them digitally to ensure your baby is supported at all times.
The Timing
There is a reason I emphasize the 8 to 21-day window. This is when babies are naturally sleepy and can be posed comfortably. If you miss this window, I can still photograph your baby, but the poses will be different to accommodate their natural alertness and muscle development.
My Philosophy
I do not offer cheap, rushed packages. I am certified, I am trained, and I value the trust you place in me when you hand over your newborn. My work is about creating fine art while maintaining a strictly safe, professional environment. I bring a, 'no-shortcuts' approach to every session, because your baby is not a prop to me; they are a tiny human being who deserves the utmost care and respect.
