My Parenting & Learning Journey
It’s not just about academics, it’s about connection. Here is how I navigate the ups and downs of parenting while growing alongside my son, Shlok.
As a parent, I realized my own fear of animals was being passed on to my son. This video documents his journey of slowly overcoming that fear and learning to be gentle and caring with a neighborhood cat, a lesson in empathy that he learned through experience.
During difficult times, we found comfort in this simple yet powerful activity. We drew the Earth on a paper napkin, and as we placed it in water, the colors spread to fill the world. It became a beautiful visual for our morning prayer, helping us send positive thoughts to everyone.
About My Parenting & Learning Journey
I don't have all the answers, and honestly, that's okay. My journey as a mom to Shlok is just like the activities we do at Milk Teeth—sometimes it gets messy, sometimes things don't go as planned, but that's where the real learning happens. Whether I'm overcoming my own fear of pets to help him build empathy or finding comfort in simple art-based morning prayers, I share this to show that we're all figuring it out together.
Why I Keep It Real
At Milk Teeth Activity Center in Chamrajpet, we don't just teach subjects. We build confidence. My philosophy is simple: 'Learning through play.' We ditch the boring lectures for messy crafts, kitchen science, and storytelling sessions where every child's voice actually matters.
How We Grow Together
Whether it’s our STEM holiday camps where kids build simple machines, or our public speaking workshops where they find their voice, the goal is always the same—helping kids try new things and grow step by step. We keep our groups small (max 8 to 15 kids) because I want to give every child personal attention, just like I do with Shlok.
What You Can Expect
- Small Batches: Your child gets the space to experiment without feeling lost in the crowd.
- Messy Fun: From Diwali puppet stories to kinetic sand play, we believe a little mess is part of the adventure.
- Expert Partners: For our coding and robotics modules, I bring in specialists to ensure your child gets the best technical foundation.
Parenting is a journey of trial and error. I’m just here to make sure that journey is a little more fun, a lot more colorful, and definitely more memorable for your little ones.
